Old Testament Survey

This class gives an overview of the purpose and content of the 39 books of the Old Testament.

New Testament Survey
3 Credit hours
This class gives an overview of the purpose and content of the 27 books of the New Testament.

Homiletics
3 Credit hours
Student will conduct and in-depth study and application of various communication techniques in light of the Word of God.

Hermeneutics
3 Credit hours
The purpose of this course is to develop basic skills in interpreting the Bible for teaching, preaching, counseling, and spiritual formation by exploring the pre-suppositions and practice of a grammatical-historical-theological hermeneutics.

The Book of Acts Part 1&2
3 Credit hours
This course is the study of the Early Church History and the work of the Holy Ghost.

Theology 1 - The New Birth

This course is a presentation of biblical with respect to the doctrine of salvation.

Scripture Based - Financial Management I
3 Credit hours
To make available the help for the student, in following God's guidelines, in order to have a clear spiritual direction and experience a solid financial life. Provide help that can develop one's personal goals.

Scripture Based -- Financial Management II

Romans

To study the Christian doctrine of salvation in details, and the theological concepts as they apply to all mankind regardless of place, culture, or time.

1 Corinthians
3 Credit hours
To give an overview of the Epistles written by Paul to the Corinthian church, which were to correct, encourage, remind & answer questions. It also gives his defense of his apostolic character and his call.

II Corinthians
3 Credit hours
To give an overview of the Epistles written by Paul to the Corinthian Church, which were to correct, encourage, remind and answer questions. It also gives his defenses of his apostolic character and his call.

Major Prophets
3 Credit hours
This is an introductory and analytical study of Major Prophets. The character and teachings of the prophets will be emphasized within their historical and cultural settings.

Minor Prophets
3 Credit hours
This is an introductory and analytical study of Minor Prophets. The character and teachings of the prophets will be emphasized within their historical and cultural settings

Prison Epistles
3 Credit hours
This class is designed to explore to contents of the letters from the Roman Jail written by Paul; to the Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians & Philemon. These letters are the inspired Word of God, which are guidelines for Christians living, to all saints.

Pastoral Epistles
3 Credit hours
A look at the letters written by Paul to Timothy and Titus. Timothy and Titus were young pastors; Paul their father in the gospel had placed them in these churches. The letters sent were to encourage being strong in the gospel, admonished them to faithfulness and offer specific instructions for them and various parts of the church. As we explorer the epistles we should see the importance of God's word to Timothy and Titus then as well as the leaders today.

Psalms
3 Credit hours
To give a general overview of the Book of Praises with examination of some specific points of interest while studying the Psalms and understanding what makes them more than a collection of poems.

Harmony of the Gospels
3 Credit hours
An overview of the person and work of Jesus Christ through synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and the supplemental gospel of John. The Messiah-King, Servant-Redeemer, Perfect Man, and Son of God; outlined in seventy-two steps from glory to glory. This course is designed to take note of important events and lessons in the Life of Christ, miracles, parables, prayers, sermons, and more.

Typology - Hebrews / Leviticus
3 Credit hours
A study of many of the major themes and laws of Leviticus. These will be stressed relative to their historical background and correlated with the corresponding New Testament teachings found in Hebrews.

Principles of Counseling
3 Credit hours
A study of the teaching methods of the Master teacher our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Written Communication
3 Credit hours
To study and to cover essential elements of writing and editing religious material that inspires the readers.

Use of Computers in Project Planning
3 Credit hours
This is an introductory course to stimulate creativity in project planning using computer software to enhance projects.

Religions of the 21st Century
3 Credit hours
This class is a general study of the different religions and doctrines in practice today. You will be introduced to a world of vast beliefs and practices, some may be considered extreme. Our foundation for truth lies in the unadulterated Word of God.

Directed Study - Practicum
Individual Study Hours (150 hours) are earned by serving in the church, missionary work or volunteering in approved programs. Preachers / Teachers list passage of Scripture (and Topic if one is used). When calculating the hours of preaching and teaching it is the time of the service not the length of the sermon/lesson. For those attending Bible Class and Sunday School the same apply (the length of the service attended).

Fundamentals of Teaching
4 Credit hours
A Biblical foundation for Christian teaching following the master teacher, Jesus Christ. Some patterns and proceses of choosing and using creative methods of Christian teaching.
